TIPS FOR TEENS

Turn off location data services on social media and all apps, except the ones your family uses to keep track of where you are.

Use two-step sign-ons to websites and social media apps.

Set all apps, games, and devices to private.

Don’t click on links from people or businesses you don’t know.

Never post or share inappropriate content.

Don’t believe that everyone is who they say they are online.

If something happens that makes you feel uncomfortable, tell a trusted adult.

Use strong, unique passwords and avoid sharing them with others.

Don’t share pictures you wouldn’t want your grandparents to see.
